Some reactions to the election:
1. I’m pleased. Not because the Democrats deserved to win, but because the GOP so richly deserved to lose. (One major problem with politics is that you can’t punish one politician without rewarding another.)
2. I’m especially pleased that Rick “Man on Dog” Santorum and (apparently) George “Macaca” Allen got the boot.
3. I am really looking forward to hating Democrats again. I’m tired of hating Republicans (though I’m confident GWB will continue to give me reasons).
