Homo Economicus

A friend emailed me the link to this post on Dealbreaker.com, which includes a YouTube video of Stephen Colbert interviewing Nobel-prize-winning chemist Peter Agre. Here's the key bit:

Colbert: "Are there monkeys as smart as you?"

Agre: "I'm sure there are quite a few, quite a few."

Colbert: "Oh really? Mm-hmm. Do they give a Nobel prize for throwing your own feces?"

Agre: "...That's the Economics prize, I think."
