As Tom surmises, blogging just couldn’t hold a candle to alternative pursuits over the last couple of weeks. Despite my absence, traffic on the site has remained surprisingly high. A large share of the credit goes to Tom’s recent posts, which have helped reassure regular readers that Agoraphilia is not dead. But I’m also intrigued by the number of new visitors the blog has received from search engine requests. What are they looking for, you ask?
Well, it turns out Agoraphilia is the number one place-to-go for information about sex frequency. I figure most searchers are trying to find stats about how often people do it – but I can’t help hoping someone will apply the calculus to optimize their sex life.
What else can you find here? Helpful information about haircuts. My post about haircuts is not even in the top 200 Google hits, but somehow searchers still find their way here.
Does anyone come here for anything serious? Umm… does a search for Seuss Atta count? How about psycho hose beast? I suppose consensual incest might qualify.
Fortunately, Tom has raised the tone a bit with his posts on law school rankings.
