The academic life has many desirable attributes. But as Jeff Cooper eloquently observes, grading is not one of them:
Must ... read ... final ... exams .... Must ... not ... permit ... self ... to ... become ... engaged ... in ... fascinating ... discussion ... of ... legal ... realism ... and ... formalism .... Must ... focus ... on ... dry ... repetitive ... essays .... AAARGH!
