I have put one of the most comprehensive link lists for hundreds of thousands of statistical sources and indicators on my blog: Statistics Reference List (http://crisismaven.wordpress.com/references/). And what I find most fascinating is how data can be visualised nowadays with the graphical computing power of modern PCs, as in manyof the dozens of examples in these Data Visualisation References (http://crisismaven.wordpress.com/references/references-subjects-covered/data-structuring/data-visualisation-references/). If you miss anything that I might be able to find for you or you yourself want to share a resource, please leave a comment.CrisisMavenhttp://crisismaven.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3829599.post-54916837996379311072007-02-12T11:18:00.000-08:002007-02-12T11:18:00.000-08:00Mrsizer: Good question. So, for instance, a particular candidate who wants to keep her job search private might feel at risk of disclosure if a researcher uncovered the fact that there as a candidate in the 2006 FAR database fitting criteria that only that or a few candidates fit. A plausible concern? It doesn't move me, but maybe the AALS is particularly risk averse.Tom W.
