Christmas in Texas

This photo was taken on Christmas Day at my parents' house in Houston. That's my Uncle Rick (standing), me (farthest away), my sister Ellen, and my Dad.

In case you're worried, those are CO2 pellet guns we're shooting, not real firearms. And paper targets we're shooting at, not the neighbors.

    Nice "shoot 'em up" family you've got there! The photographer did real good to catch y'all off guard. You have a determined look on your face...to shoot yourself in your foot. Ellen's two-fisted, double-barreled approach looks mighty scary. This is exactly how I imagined the typical Texan family: always ready to defend their territory against the Federal marshals. And don't kid yourself--BB and pellet guns can do a lot of damage if used by the wrong person. Thank you for posting that picture. I got a good laugh out it!

    ellen looks mighty intense. i finally know what she looks like. can't tell if any of you resemble each other. too bad neal wasn't in the picture also. but i think i've seen a picture of him once.
    sounds like a fun family.

    hey it beats karaoke that i'm forced to participate with my family during the holidays.

    i think i've only shot a real gun (.45? caliber) once in my life at target practice.

    Oh no, Glen, you posted a picture of me looking manly and like a lunatic. And now that's what people think I look like. Find a hot picture of me and post that one, too. Although I realize looking for a hot picture of your sister might be, uh, weird.
